📖 VEDIC KNOWLEDGE
What is Panchang?
Panchang (also Panchanga or Panchangam) is the Hindu almanac and cornerstone of Vedic astrology. The word Pancha means five and Anga means limb — referring to the five key elements: Tithi (lunar day), Vara (weekday), Nakshatra (lunar mansion), Yoga (auspicious period), and Karana (half-day). Together these five limbs determine the auspiciousness of any given moment.
Consulting the Panchang before important events — weddings, business launches, travel, ceremonies — is a time-honoured Vedic practice that aligns your actions with cosmic rhythms for maximum success and harmony.
