Pandit Gopal Dutt Shastri Ji was the visionary founder of Dutt Astrologer’s, established in 1975 in Chandigarh. Born in the spiritually rich town of Dwarahat, district Almora, Uttarakhand, he carried the deep-rooted wisdom of Sanatan Dharma from the hills to the heart of North India.
He completed his intermediate education in Dwarahat and moved to Chandigarh in 1969, settling in the Khuda Ali Sher area. With unwavering dedication towards Vedic knowledge, he pursued and successfully completed his Shastri and MA Shastri degrees from Punjab University.
Alongside his academic journey, Pandit Ji worked at the Chandigarh Golf Club as an assistant office boy—an experience that shaped his discipline, humility, and perseverance. Through years of sincere effort, he laid the foundation of Dutt Astrologer’s, turning it into a trusted name in Vedic astrology.
From 1990 onwards, Pandit Gopal Dutt Shastri Ji gained immense respect and popularity, especially among the Kumaoni community in Chandigarh. He became widely known for his accurate astrological guidance, ethical practices, and deep spiritual wisdom. He guided thousands of individuals toward the right path, helping them overcome life’s challenges through astrology and Vedic remedies.
Beyond astrology, he devoted himself to spreading awareness of Sanatan Dharma, explaining the meanings of Vedic mantras in both Sanskrit and Hindi so that common people could truly understand their spiritual significance. By 1999, he had earned a special place in the hearts of people across the Tricity region, remembered not just as an astrologer, but as a true spiritual guide.
After the demise of Pandit Gopal Dutt Shastri Ji in January 2021, his son, Dr. Naveen Dutt Astrologer, took the responsibility of carrying forward this sacred legacy.
Dr. Naveen Dutt completed his Shastri degree in 2020, followed by Acharya in 2021, and later earned his PhD in Astrology in March 2025. With strong academic credentials and deep spiritual grounding, he seamlessly took charge of his father’s life-long work.
Today, Dr. Naveen Dutt Astrologer serves clients across India and abroad, guiding them on the path of Sanatan Dharma and offering effective astrological solutions to complex life problems. With over 8,000+ satisfied clients worldwide, he is recognized for his accurate predictions, ethical practices, and practical remedies.
